Fran I am putting this page together to help you as you go forward managing the website. What follows is how to:

ADD

Wine to a Specific Varietal’s or Beer/Liquor Page

1. Login to http://downtownwinespirits.com/wp-admin
2. Click on ‘Pages’ on the grey bar at the left.
3. Select all pages from the selections that appear.
4. A list of all your pages will populate in the middle. Click on the varietal page or beer/liquor page that you want to adjust.
5. Make your changes, and click the blue ‘Update’ button on the upper right.
6. A yellow line will appear across the main body of the page, a link will be there that allows you to see the page live on your site. check it before you move on.

A new post to your blog

1. Login to http://downtownwinespirits.com/wp-admin
2. Hover on the  ‘+New’ link on the dark grey bar at the top of the page.
3. Select post from the drop down list.
4. Enter a Title for the post in the title box.
5. Type your post and use the  button above the format box, to upload pictures you want to insert into the post. Before adding it to the post, click the ‘make featured image’ link and allow time for it to save. then click ‘insert into post’.
6. Choose or Create a new category (don’t go too crazy) from the box to the left of the text entry field.
7. When finished click the Publish button on the top left. And view the page in the yellow bar before moving on.

Edit

A specific post or page that already exists

1. Login to http://downtownwinespirits.com/wp-admin
2. Click on Post (for blog posts) or pages (for the product pages and about us) on the left bar and select All posts/pages from the choices that appear.
3. Select edit underneath the one you chose, and then make the changes you want to make to it.
4. Click the ‘Update’ Button on the upper right and view the changes from the yellow bar to verify they look good.
